The battle over ivermectin is continuing. A judge is holding a Virginia hospital in contempt of court for withholding ivermectin from a ventilated patient, against her family wishes. Epoch Times is reporting that a New Jersey woman died after hospital refused to give ivermectin secured by her husband. The point is not that ivermectin is a silver bullet— it seems that it is best used soon after symptoms appear, or as a prophylactic. But that there is a troubling unwillingness on the part of much of the medical establishment to grant the request of patients, even as they run out of options. Studies suggest that melatonin and vitamin D may help reduce length and intensity of COVID. The Federalist has reported that studies which show various generic drugs are being suppressed.
