The House has approved another stopgap round of funding to keep the government ticking over until March and prevent a shutdown. The measure was needed as lawmakers continue to butt heads over spending money approved in the President’s infrastructure bills. 

For now, $5BN will be used to build fast charging stations “every 50 miles” for electric vehicles. The Vice President recently tweeted that the biggest barrier to buying an EV is how to charge it. Considering the differences between city and country dwellers driving habits and the vehicles they favor, it’s entirely possible that VP Harris is in for a shock! 

ICYMI, President Biden ruled that all electric vehicles should have a killswitch which the government can access. You know, for intoxicated drivers..
