BHoP#073 Heroes of the Curb (The Year that Was)

Dr Koontz and Rev Fisk talk bout the role of violence, its estrangement from modern life, and the historical normalcy of its use by citizens. They discuss how the nation was affected by the events of Jan 6th, the outbreaks of violence across American cities because the political machines are no longer working as intended, and the cannibalistic nature of the regime. They close by examining how inflation will affect standards of living, and the benefits of having a coherent group when trying to "opt out".

A Brief History of Power
Every week Dr. Adam Koontz and Rev. Jonathan Fisk check their privilege against the backdrop of the wide and varied annals of history. You don‘t have to believe the Babel about the sons of Noah being a rosetta for understanding the postmodern global politic to agree that an intellectual dark web exists because history always rhymes, no matter what you try to do about it. You might not save the world by listening, citizen, but that doesn‘t mean you won‘t save someone. Because knowing is only the first half of the battle.
